Man has long been on the search for that magical "love potion" that will grant him the secrets to attracting the opposite sex. Well, look no farther, the secret has been found and I'm exposing it to you right now without delay! Pheromones!! What are pheromones you ask? Pheromones have been around for millions of years. A tool of evolution, and we are only now discovering its many uses. Pheromones are naturally produced by our bodies as chemical signals that give the producer the advantage to survival by attracting the opposite sex so that reproduction and the continuation of the species because easier. Almost all living things produce pheromones; insects, pigs, dogs, HUMANS! That's right, even we produce pheromones. Pheromones are used to attract the opposite sex in all of these species. The apocrine glands, or sweat glands, located in the armpit and genital areas, produce pheromones as well as sweat. Sweat often has bacteria in it which puts off a foul odor, not to be associated with the pheromones. As a species, we have developed advanced methods of masking/cleansing the odors associated with those areas of our bodies. However, in doing so we wash away/mask the very thing, pheromones, that make us more attractive in the first place. Pheromones work on a subconscious level. The chemical signals pheromones put off are picked up by a the vomeronasal organ, or VNO, whose sole function is to detect trace amounts of these airborne chemicals. The VNO has a specialized nerve pathway that runs directly past the olfactory cortex, which is why we don't smell them, and into the limbic region of the brain. The limbic region controls our most basic sensations: joy, anger, love, hate, and sexual arousal! Pheromones themselves are odorless and can pack quite a punch, so it's very crucial to understand that you do not have to revert back to the hygiene routine of a caveman to take advantage of their effectiveness. Thanks to modern day science you can actually purchase pheromones as a topical solution and wear them right along with your favorite cologne/perfume. There are some brands out there that come pre-scented, but in this writer's humble opinion they smell cheap. Use this information wisely my friends and you will see that pheromones do indeed attract the opposite sex and they do it very well!
